Angel Tree Services

About Angel Tree Services

Early on the Rappahannock, fog lies in the low ground below Chatham Bridge and does not lift until the sun clears the Stafford side. Angel Tree Services starts its days in that hour, ropes coiled, before the heat settles over the river town. The work is tree removal where a trunk has leaned too far toward a roofline, trimming to give a yard back its shape, and pruning cuts made where the branch collar says they belong. After a summer squall pushes down the valley, they come for the wreckage — limbs off the fence, the split maple, the driveway made passable again. It is plain work, and the reward is plain: a lot cleared and a tree standing better than it was.
