About American Lawn and Landscape, LLC

There is an hour in June, after the heat lets go of the pavement and before the light leaves Ivy Creek, when a freshly cut lawn in Forest looks like still water. American Lawn and Landscape works toward that hour: mowing in clean overlapping passes, running the trimmer around posts and stone, edging the walk until the line is sharp enough to read from the street. Grass in this stretch of the piedmont grows fast, and faster after rain, so the route comes back around and the yards stay even instead of forever catching up. Cleanups follow the same calendar — clippings hauled off, beds tidied, the leaf work that closes the season out. It is ordinary work, and it is also the reason a whole street can look cared for from one end to the other.
