Above Ground Tree & Landscape

About Above Ground Tree & Landscape

The first real snow in Bedford County rarely announces itself — a gray afternoon along Thomas Jefferson Road, a few flakes that refuse to stick, and then two inches waiting at daybreak. Above Ground Tree & Landscape spends those hours plowing driveways, opening the turnaround at the top of the hill, shoveling the front walk and scattering salt where the shade keeps ice alive. There is a plain pleasure in a drive cut end to end before anyone needs it, the gravel edges left square, the path to the door bare and gritted. The work runs across Forest and the roads that spill off toward Bedford and the county line, houses and small lots alike. By the time the sun tops the ridgeline west of town, the morning has already been handed back to the people who live here.
