Botetourt County runs north from Fincastle toward the James, a long valley with mountains on both sides that funnel weather straight down the middle of it. Turner Landscaping works that corridor in both directions of the year: plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks and entryways, and salting shaded pitches when a system comes over the ridges, then mowing, trimming, edging, mulching and clearing debris once the valley greens back up. Rural drives here are long, and wind can undo an hour of plowing in twenty minutes, so a storm often means going back out. That is simply part of it. Whether it is a level cut in June or bare pavement at daybreak in February, the standard holds, and the drive home afterward is a good one.
