Paul's Legacy

About Paul's Legacy

Arlington begins on a ridge, and the light gets there first — the Potomac below going from slate to silver while the bluff streets are still blue with shadow. Paul's Legacy keeps both halves of the year here: plow and shovel through the cold months, mower and edger once the Custis Trail greens over again. There is real pride in a driveway opened to bare pavement before the first car rolls toward Rosslyn, and the same pride in a summer edge running true along the walk. Yards near Theodore Roosevelt Island hold their damp longer, while the higher blocks dry fast and want a different cut. Snow removal and lawn care, one property at a time, in the town that watches the river.
