About Paul's Best Lawn Service, Inc.

The old brick church that gave this city its name has stood at the crossroads since colonial days, and the ground around it has been raked, mown and shoveled by somebody every year since. Paul's Best Lawn Service, Inc. carries that ordinary continuity forward — mowing and trimming through the green months, leaf work in November, then plowing and shoveling once December gets serious. There is a particular week here, right after Thanksgiving, when the last leaves come down and the light goes thin and everyone starts watching the forecast. The crew is ready on both sides of it, mowers put away, salt and plows brought out. A yard kept steady across that turn never looks like it was caught by surprise.
