About Garcia Landscaping

By late July the crape myrtles along Annandale Road are throwing pink all over the sidewalks and the air out here is thick enough to lean on. Garcia Landscaping works those weeks in the cool hours — early mornings and long evenings, mowing at the right height so the grass can carry itself through the heat. Falls Church summers ask a lot of a lawn: humid nights, sudden thunderstorms coming up out of the southwest, and a sun that finds every thin patch. The crew keeps the cut, trims the borders, freshens the mulch and keeps the shrubs from swallowing the walk. It is honest outdoor work, and a yard that stays green through August says so plainly.
