About Deehan Landscaping Inc.

The W&OD Trail runs through Falls Church on the bed of an old railroad, and after a heavy snow it becomes a long white ribbon nobody has stepped on yet. Deehan Landscaping Inc. is usually awake before anyone gets the chance — out at four in the morning with plow and shovel, opening driveways and walkways for people who have to be somewhere at seven. The storms that matter here tend to sneak up the coast overnight and leave a wet, heavy layer that sets like mortar by sunrise. So the crew works ahead of it, clearing and salting, then coming back through for a second pass once the wind has filled things in again. There is a plain pride in a street where every drive on the block is open.
