Valer Deck and Patio

About Valer Deck and Patio

Snow lies differently on a back patio than it does on a street — softer, unbroken, and quietly treacherous once the afternoon sun gets to work on it. Around Mantua and the woods edging Eakin Park, Valer Deck and Patio handles winter's plainer chores: plowing the driveway, clearing walkways and steps down to the surface, salting where a slope or a shaded corner turns slick. Fairfax can hand you six inches of powder one week and a quarter inch of glaze the next, and the second one is worse. Both get met the same way, early and thoroughly. Then the route from the door to the car is just a route again.
