About ALL CLEAR, LLC

At three in the morning the streetlights along Chain Bridge Road turn falling snow into something almost gold, and that is the hour ALL CLEAR, LLC keeps. Fairfax storms rarely arrive politely — they come wet and heavy, clinging to boxwood and mailbox posts, and they have to be moved before the first commuter turns a key. The plow opens the driveway, hand-shoveling squares off the walk to the door, and salt goes down where the slope wants to glaze. By the time the old courthouse clock faces a grey morning, the pavement is dark and wet and honest again. There is a plain pleasure in that: a street that wakes up already handled.
