Ben and Gary's lawncare

About Ben and Gary's lawncare

Elk Run slips through the middle of Elkton, and the yards that back onto it grow fast and green through the long humid weeks of summer. Evenings here, the mowers quit about the time fireflies start up over the pasture edges, and a street of freshly cut lawns holds the smell of it until full dark. This is lawn care for those blocks — regular mowing, trimming around fence lines, mailboxes and foundations, edging along walks and driveways, and carrying off what the cutting leaves behind. Come autumn the same attention goes to raking down whatever the maples let go. The reward is a yard someone is glad to walk out into on a Saturday morning, barefoot and unbothered.
