About Beaveroo Stump Grinding

Winter finds Elkton by way of the Blue Ridge, spilling down from Swift Run Gap and spreading over the South Fork of the Shenandoah in the dark before dawn. Beaveroo Stump Grinding answers by clearing snow in this Rockingham County town at the foot of the mountains. Driveways get cleared, walks get shoveled, and the route out to the road opens up again. The town took its name from Elk Run, and on a snowy morning the creek banks and the valley beyond go silent and white. Cutting a path through that stillness, so someone can get to work or school, is solid labor worth being proud of.
