Augusta Lawn Care of Harrisonburg

About Augusta Lawn Care of Harrisonburg

Late on a June afternoon the Spotswood Trail runs west out of Elkton with heat standing over the asphalt, and somewhere along it a mower is laying the last stripe of the day. This is lawn care and snow removal worked along the corridor between the town and Harrisonburg — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the clippings so a yard reads finished instead of merely cut. In January the same trucks are moving while the valley is still dark, opening driveways and putting grit down on the walk to the front step. The satisfaction is small and exact: a clean line where turf meets sidewalk, a drive scraped down to bare pavement. Fog sits low over Elkton some mornings and burns off to show the Blue Ridge going gold, and the work shapes itself to that light.
