Firefly Lawn Co

About Firefly Lawn Co

There is a week in June when the low ground along Quantico Creek fills with fireflies at dusk and Dumfries turns into something out of a story. Firefly Lawn Co took its name from that hour and works the daylight before it: mowing, string trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups on yards from the old Route 1 blocks to the newer streets uphill. Tidewater humidity pushes growth hard from May onward, so the schedule here is a promise rather than a suggestion. Getting it right means a lawn even in color, tight at the walkway and quiet — nothing left over to fix. Neighbors in Triangle, Quantico and Woodbridge see the same truck on the same rhythm.
