Draper Valley Lawn & Garden

About Draper Valley Lawn & Garden

Draper lies in a fold of Pulaski County where the New River Trail follows the old railbed and Claytor Lake shows blue between the ridges. Winter arrives higher and harder up here than it does out in the low country, and the mountain roads keep what falls on them. Draper Valley Lawn & Garden takes on the snow work: plowing driveways and lots, opening walks and steps, and treating ice on the grades where a wheel will spin. Long gravel lanes and steep approaches are the standard problem in this corner of the county, and both are solved the same way — carefully, and early. When the fog lifts off the lake, everything that needed to be open is open.
