About Muddy Creek Excavating LLC

Deerfield lies in a high, quiet valley deep in the mountains west of Staunton, where the Calfpasture River winds between hayfields and Shenandoah Mountain stands dark along the western sky. Winter comes early and stays late this far back in the hills, and a February storm can bury a farm lane before the cattle are fed. Muddy Creek Excavating LLC does snow removal here, pushing open long driveways and gravel roads so the mail and the feed truck can get through. The work runs on gray daylight and engine heat, drift after drift turned back into road. In a place this remote, a cleared lane is the thread that ties a homestead to everyone else.
