About Randolph's Landscaping

By late October the maples along Main Street have gone copper over the tall porches of Millionaires Row, and every gust puts down another layer. Randolph's Landscaping spends that stretch mowing what is left of the season, edging the walks back to a straight line, and clearing leaves until the lawn underneath shows green again. It is satisfying work — a property handed back looking swept and squared before the holidays arrive. Then Danville gets one of its infrequent snows, the kind that hushes the whole hill above the river, and the same crew is out plowing drives and shoveling steps at first light so people can get where they are going. Two seasons, one standard.
