Gregors Tree Services.

About Gregors Tree Services.

Once the last hikers have moved on north, Damascus belongs to winter and to Iron Mountain, whose long dark ridge stands over town wearing the year's first snow. Gregors Tree Services handles snow removal here, out before sunrise while Beaverdam Creek steams in the cold and the only sound is boots crunching on the crust. Driveways are opened edge to edge, steps and walks are scraped down to the concrete, and the snow is heaped where it won't slide back in. It is cold-handed, early work in a mountain town that wakes slowly in January. By the time sunlight spills down into town, the way out is ready and waiting.
