Branson's Tree Service

About Branson's Tree Service

Winter in Dahlgren arrives on a north wind with miles of open river to build speed over, and when a storm does bring snow it tends to drift hard against sheds and the lee side of every hedge. Branson's Tree Service clears it, working driveways and walks in Dahlgren Center while the marsh grass along Upper Machodoc Creek stands stiff and silver with frost. The lights of the Route 301 bridge are still burning out over the river when the first drive is opened. Snow gets banked neatly to one side instead of slumped across the path, and the cleared ground shows clean behind it. On the coldest mornings of the year, an open driveway is the warmest sight on the street.
