About Felipe Tree Expert

Down toward Mitchells and Lignum the county flattens into hayfields and farm ponds, and July afternoons stack heat until a thunderhead climbs over the Blue Ridge. Felipe Tree Expert works those long lanes and the shade around the houses at the end of them — removal of dying trunks near the barn, trimming of the low boughs a mower keeps fighting, pruning that opens a crown enough for wind to pass through. Once a storm has rolled past, they come back for what it left: limbs off the pond bank, brush hauled out, the drive cleared for the cattle truck. The satisfaction is standing back at dusk with the yard clean and the old oak still holding its shape.
