About E. Lewis Services

A Culpeper Sunday in January depends on somebody being up at four. E. Lewis Services takes that shift — plowing lots, scraping walkways down to bare pavement, spreading salt on the steps and entrances where people will be arriving in dress shoes. Snow here often comes in overnight and quits by dawn, which leaves a narrow window and no excuse for missing it. Clearing a lot properly means the corners too, and the spaces nobody thinks about until they are blocked. The town gets its morning; the truck goes home.
