About Bottenfield Excavating, LLC

Weather comes over the Blue Ridge into Crimora with a warning: cloud spilling down the eastern wall, then wind, then snow filling the valley floor from Waynesboro north. Bottenfield Excavating, LLC meets those nights with a blade, clearing driveways, lanes and lots along Route 340 so the Shenandoah Valley can get where it needs to go by morning. Moving earth is the everyday trade, and moving snow asks the same eye — where the pile belongs, how the drainage runs, what will refreeze at the bottom of a grade. A valley drive scraped clean, framed by fresh white on either side, is an honest morning's result. The mountains keep their snow longer; the driveway does not have to.
