Pinky's Tree Service

About Pinky's Tree Service

Out at Courtland the land lies open — peanut ground and cotton rows running to a dark line of cypress where the Nottoway goes by, slow and tea-colored. Pinky's Tree Service works Southampton County with tree removal, tree trimming, pruning and storm damage cleanup, much of it on the great shade trees that stand alone in a yard and have to be taken one limb at a time. Summer afternoons build fast out here, and a storm can leave a pecan split down the middle by dusk; the next morning belongs to the saws and the chipper. Pruning, done right, is quiet work — you should have to look twice to notice it happened at all. From Courtland to Franklin, Boykins, Newsoms and Ivor, the aim stays the same: trees that keep their shape, yards that keep their light.
