About Lucas Lawncare Services LLC

July in Colonial Beach is porch fans, bare feet on hot pavement and long narrow lots running down toward the Potomac, every one of them growing faster than its owner can keep up with. Lucas Lawncare Services LLC mows and trims through that heat, cutting clean around bulkheads, boat trailers and the odd angles a river town leaves behind. Come the turn of the year, the crew swaps the mower for a plow and opens driveways and walks after the wet coastal snow that catches this stretch of the river. Both jobs come down to the same thing: leaving a place easier to walk out of than it was an hour ago. It is plain work, and it looks good done right.
