About Waltons Tree Service LLC

Clifton Forge sits down in the notch where the Jackson River and the railroad run side by side, ridges standing straight up on both hands, so the sun arrives late and leaves early. Waltons Tree Service LLC works that narrow ground — tree removal, tree trimming, pruning and storm damage cleanup — on lots where the back fence is the beginning of a mountain. Bringing a big oak down between a brick house and the tracks is a geometry problem, solved with rope, wedges and a good long look upward first. Through the green months, trimming keeps light on the porches and off the power drop; after a mountain storm it is limbs lifted off the pavement and brush pulled out of the creek line by evening. The service reaches Clifton Forge, Iron Gate, Low Moor, Covington and up the valley toward Millboro.
