About Pine Knoll Construction Co

North of Winchester the orchards run in long rows over the limestone, and in winter the bare apple trees stand in rank across the snow like something drawn with a straightedge. Pine Knoll Construction Co clears the ground beneath and around them — driveways plowed, farm and business lots opened, the side roads off the Valley Pike made passable for the first trip of the day. Walks are shoveled and treated so nobody has to guess at the footing between the car and the door. Frederick County wind stacks the drifts against buildings and fence rows, and that is where pushing has to be thorough rather than quick. When the sun finally climbs the ridge and the pavement steams, the work stands up to a second look.
