Woodswalker Tree Service

About Woodswalker Tree Service

A Southside thunderstorm announces itself early: green sky over the treeline, then wind coming off the water at Kerr, then a limb across the drive by suppertime. Woodswalker Tree Service answers the morning-after work around Chase City — storm damage cleanup, tree removal, trimming and pruning, in whatever order the weather decided. Pruning is the slower half of it, done in the still weeks when a young oak can be shaped for the wind it hasn't met yet. Removal is the loud half, and it ends the same way every time: rope coiled, the drive clear, sunlight landing in a spot that hasn't had any in years. The service runs across Chase City and out toward Clarksville, Boydton and Kenbridge, wherever the storm track happened to go.
