About Madison Environmental

A hard freeze reaches the Dutch Gap lagoons first — the marsh grass stiffens, the tidal flats go pewter, and the cold rolls up out of the river bottom into Chester overnight. Madison Environmental works those cold snaps, plowing snow, clearing drives and walkways and treating ice on lots that have to open regardless of the forecast. Storms here are unpredictable in size and reliable in timing, always at the least convenient hour, and the answer is being ready before the first flake lands. Piles pushed clear, curbs found, salt down where the shade will hold the cold all day. Clear pavement, before anyone has to think about it, is the point of the night.
