Good N' Green

About Good N' Green

Cedar Road under the live oaks in October is one of the better drives in the city — light coming through sideways, acorns everywhere, the lawns underneath still holding their color. Good N' Green keeps them that way: mowing on a weekly schedule, trimming and edging so the borders stay defined, leaves cleared before they mat down over the turf. Then the year tips over, and on the few mornings Chesapeake wakes up under ice, the crew is out plowing drives, shoveling walks and salting the steps. Green most of the year, clear the rest of it. That's the whole idea sitting right there in the name.
