About Botanical Landscape LLC

Snow in the loblolly pines out by the Chesapeake Arboretum is worth stopping the truck for — it gathers on the long needles in soft clumps, then lets go all at once when the wind moves through. Botanical Landscape LLC is usually somewhere underneath it, clearing driveways before the sun climbs high enough to make slush of everything. The work is plain and it matters: plow the drive, shovel the front walk and the steps, spread de-icer at the doorways and on any slope. In a city that sees only a handful of snow days a year, a clear path to the car is what makes an ordinary Tuesday possible. The pines can keep their snow; the pavement gets swept down to bare.
