About Atlantic Craftsman LLC

At Great Bridge Lock the water sits still and gray in the cold, and the canal holds the last of the night longer than the road does. Atlantic Craftsman LLC starts on mornings like that — headlights out on Battlefield Boulevard, plow down, working driveways and lots before Chesapeake tries to go anywhere. Snowfall doesn't visit this corner of Virginia often, and when it does the whole region is caught a little flat-footed, which is exactly why somebody has to be up. Plowing, shoveled walks and steps, salt across the shaded stretches that never quite thaw. The craft is in the finish: a clean edge along the pavement and nothing left behind to refreeze.
