About Fitts Lawn Care LLC

Summer comes up warm and early over Southside, and the red clay around Chase City holds that heat long after the sun has dropped behind the treeline. Fitts Lawn Care LLC works those Mecklenburg yards the way the old fields were worked — by attention, pass after pass, until the whole thing lines up. Mowing, edging and string trimming turn a rambling piedmont lot into something with shape and a border you can see from the road. Come October, when the oaks near the brick garden walls at MacCallum More let go all at once, the leaves get raked and hauled and the grass gets its light back. There is a real satisfaction in the last cut of the day, when the lines run straight to the fence and the mower finally falls quiet.
