About Welch Works Handyman Services

Out past the reservoir, where Charlottesville loosens into gravel lanes and fence line and long pasture, an ice storm is a different animal than a snowstorm — everything glazed, the sycamores bent low across the road. Welch Works Handyman Services clears snow and ice out there and in town both: opening driveways, cutting a path from the door to the car, putting salt on the north-side steps the sun never touches. A handyman's habit shows in the work — the tight turnaround, the walkway behind the house, the mailbox apron nobody thinks about until the truck can't get to it. By late morning the sun works along the ridge, the ice starts ticking off the branches, and the ground opened at dawn is already dry underfoot.
