About Unique Services Inc

An ice storm reaches Charlottesville differently than snow does — it starts as afternoon rain, and by supper the Rio Road hills have gone to glass. Unique Services Inc works that changeover, plowing lots and drives while the accumulation builds, scraping walkways back to the surface, treating the slick shaded curb lines before they set overnight. Out near Pen Park the ground rolls enough that a treated driveway is the difference between leaving and staying put. The trucks keep circling until every property on the list is open again. Morning is supposed to feel unremarkable, and that takes all night.
