Route 250 west leaves Charlottesville and starts to climb, and by Yancey Mills and Greenwood the yards open into orchard light with the ridge standing behind them. Grass out that way grows in cooler air and holds its green a little longer into the fall. Dos Amigos Landscaping mows, trims and edges lawns along that corridor and back into town, lays mulch when the beds are opened in spring, and clears the leaf drop at season's end. April here is redbud and dogwood and a lawn that suddenly needs cutting twice a week. A finished yard against that backdrop makes for a good day's work.
