About Champ Lawson Lawn Services

Carter Mountain stands over the south side of Charlottesville like a weather gauge — when cloud comes down over the orchard rows, something is on the way. On the winter mornings that follow, the drives and walks around Avon Street Extended and Mill Creek need opening before the first car backs out, and that means plowing, shoveling and salt in the dark. The rest of the year the same ground turns green and hungry, and Champ Lawson Lawn Services is back with mower, trimmer and a clean line along every walk. Two very different kinds of early start, one standard for how a property should look when the truck pulls away. Snow melts by afternoon here more often than not, but the driveway still has to be clear at six.
