About Black Roses Landscaping

Down in Woolen Mills the streets run out toward the Rivanna, and the last light of the day comes in low and copper off the water. The yards there are old and narrow, laid out back when the mill set the hours, and they look their best when the mowing lines follow the shape of the block. Black Roses Landscaping mows, trims and edges those lawns across Charlottesville, mulches beds when spring opens, and clears leaves once the sycamores along the river begin shedding. Grass on this side of town grows thick in the river air, and the mowing has to keep pace with it. Walking back to the truck past a finished row of yards is the best part of the day.
