About Big O Tree and Lawn Services

Out along Garth Road the yards stop being yards and start being small fields — a half acre of fescue running down to a fence, a ring of mowed ground held back from the pasture. Turf like that looks intentional only with a wide cut and a careful finish where grass meets gravel, stone and post. Big O Tree and Lawn Services mows, trims and edges that kind of ground around Charlottesville and out toward Owensville, and clears the leaf fall once the hardwoods let go. Mid-summer can turn dry and hard here; the grass browns, waits, and comes back with the first honest rain. The reward is a broad green sweep that looks like someone meant it.
