About Old Union Tree Solutions

Snow does not come often to Charles City County, and when it does, the old plantation country along Route 5 goes strangely silent, the fields white down to the James and the tall loblolly pines bowed under a weight they rarely carry. Old Union Tree Solutions, a tree business, answers those storms by plowing out drives and walkways so homes along these long, wooded roads are not left waiting for a thaw. In a place of wide spaces, where a house may sit far back from the highway, an unplowed lane can keep a household home long after the storm has passed. The pleasure of the work is in the contrast: dark pavement opened through white, under branches hung heavy. When the low sun comes up over the Chickahominy side of the county, the drive is clear and the day is yours.
