About Sundance Lawn & Landscapes

October in Chantilly ends with the sun dropping behind the Bull Run Mountains, and for about twenty minutes every lawn on the block turns copper. Sundance Lawn & Landscapes is usually finishing a property right around then — the week's last mow, edges trimmed, leaves gathered off the fescue and carried away before rain can mat them into the grass. The growing season runs long here, March mowing through Thanksgiving cleanup, with mulch in spring and seed in fall to keep the turf honest. Cut grass in that late light looks like something staged, and it comes from nothing more than doing the work in the right order. Then the trucks pull out and the street goes quiet again.
