Scoop Squad

About Scoop Squad

A route is a map you carry in your head: which back gate sticks, which drive is steeper than it looks, whose walk runs long from the street. Scoop Squad already knows the side streets around Garst Mill that way, and winter only changes what gets carried out of the yard. The morning after a storm the truck moves fast, drives pushed clear, walkways and gate approaches shoveled, salt down at the sloped spots. Fast is not the same as careless, though: nothing gets left in a pile where a car has to sit, and every gate opens the way it should. Then it is on to the next address before the sun tops the hill.
