About Cave Spring Landscaping

This community took its name from a spring, water coming cold out of limestone long before the roads and the corners grew up around it. Cave Spring Landscaping works the far end of a winter day, when the light over Electric Road flattens to pewter and the afternoon melt starts stiffening back toward ice. Plowing opens the drive; a shovel finishes what a truck can never reach, the steps, the run to the door, the strip behind the mailbox. Then salt goes down ahead of the overnight freeze, because in this valley the second night is usually harder than the first. Come morning the concrete is dark and dry, and that is a good thing to leave behind.
