About Houck Lawn Care

Fog sits in the Clinch River valley most mornings at Castlewood, filling the bottoms while Copper Ridge takes the first sun above it. Houck Lawn Care works both ends of the year in that country — mowing, trimming and edging the steep yards through the green months, then plowing and shoveling once the ridges go white. Summer means keeping up with grass that comes on hard after a mountain rain: level cuts, clean borders, leaves and clippings cleared off the walks. Winter means an early start, a driveway opened down to pavement, steps scraped and treated before anyone has to think about them. Same ground, same hands, two different kinds of quiet.
