Curb Appeal Fixers

About Curb Appeal Fixers

Out past Windsor the land flattens into peanut and cotton ground, and Carrsville sits in the middle of it with the Blackwater River drawn dark along the edge. Open country like that does something particular with snow: it doesn't pile, it travels, drifting across Route 58 and stacking hard against every hedgerow and farm lane. Curb Appeal Fixers plows those lanes and driveways, opens the long entries that houses and farms depend on, and comes back when the wind rebuilds a drift an hour later. Walkways and steps are shoveled and treated for ice, and parking areas are pushed back wide enough to actually turn a truck around in. The satisfaction is all in the after — one straight black lane cut clean through a white field.
