Meadow Lawn & Pest

About Meadow Lawn & Pest

By October the ball fields at Carrollton Nike Park go crisp underfoot and the sweetgums along the county roads start letting go all at once. Meadow Lawn & Pest spends those short afternoons on leaf work — blowing, raking and hauling until the turf can breathe again ahead of the first frost. Through the growing months it is mowing, edging along walks and driveways, reaching the fence lines a mower can't, and keeping the beds mulched and clear. The flat pine country between Smithfield and the river makes for big open lawns, and a big lawn rewards a straight line. Come spring the grass returns thick and even, which is the whole point of the autumn.
