Days Off Lawn Care

About Days Off Lawn Care

Carrollton wakes with salt in the air — the James goes wide here, and the tide off the Ragged Island flats leaves the morning smelling of marsh grass and loblolly pine. Days Off Lawn Care runs the mowers early along Route 17 and the lanes that bend down toward the water, cutting, trimming and edging before the humidity climbs. Sandy tidewater soil grows grass in fits and starts, so the work is patient: even passes, honest borders, clippings kept off the drive. Beds get mulched, hedges get shaped, and the fall drop from the hardwoods is hauled away before it mats down the turf. What the crew is after is simple — a yard that looks settled and looked-after when a family pulls in at the end of the day.
