A&S Lawn Care

About A&S Lawn Care

The Maury River curls along the edge of Buena Vista, cold and quick, with the old rail grade running beside it toward Lexington. A&S Lawn Care works the mill-town grid above it — mowing, trimming, edging and clearing the leaves that pile against porch steps come November. Rockbridge County mornings put a heavy dew on the grass, so the day starts a little later and ends with everything blown clean off the sidewalks. A straight cut on a narrow town lot is harder than it looks and better looking when it is done. On the walk back to the truck the mountains are always there, closing the valley in on both sides.
