About Y & VA Tree Services

Broadway sits where Linville Creek runs out toward the North Fork of the Shenandoah, Massanutten off to the east and the long wall of Great North Mountain closing the valley to the west. Y & VA Tree Services works these Rockingham farms and town lots, removing trees crowding a lane or an outbuilding, trimming limbs off roofs and equipment sheds, pruning the maples and walnuts that shade a farmhouse yard. Valley storms slide up from the southwest and hit the tree line hard, and the next day means a driveway opened, a fence cleared, the tops chipped and gone. Winter here is bright and cold and made for the saw. When it is finished the yard looks square again, which out here counts for a lot.
