About Vestal Landscaping

October mornings here arrive under fog, the whole valley filled to the brim while the high ground floats above it, and by ten o'clock Bristol is gold and blowing. Vestal Landscaping spends those weeks in the leaves — still mowing while there is growth left to take, hauling off what the maples turn loose, raking the corners where the wind piles everything up. The rest of the year keeps its own tempo: regular cuts, tidy lines against the walks, a yard that never gets away from its owner. It is honest outdoor work in a town built out of hills, where no two lawns fall the same direction and every slope asks something different of the machine. The good part is the look back from the road — a clean sweep of grass on ground that does not lie flat.
