About Tolentino's Lawn Care & More, LLC

Summer mornings in Boyce begin under a lid of fog that lifts off the horse pastures by eight, leaving dew beaded on the fieldstone walls that line the old Clarke County roads. Tolentino's Lawn Care & More, LLC goes to work in that wet, bright hour, cutting lawns along small-town streets where porches face each other and everyone notices whose grass got tall. The mowing is steady and the trim work is close: around mailbox posts, along the stone, beneath the low branches of a shade tree. By midafternoon the heat settles thick over the valley while the Shenandoah slides by a few miles east, and the lawns already wear their fresh lines. It is careful, unhurried work that lets a yard in this horse-country town match the gentle order of the land around it.
